About Jo

I’ve been taking pictures for most of my life. My first camera, or the one I was directly involved in acquiring was a Pentax something. Manual controls. Required some knowledge of the mechanics of setting up a shot, and of course had a completely different feel (no shaking) and look (no filters) at first.

I’ve been taking pictures for most of my life. My first camera, or the one I was directly involved in acquiring was a Pentax something. Manual controls. Required some knowledge of the mechanics of setting up a shot, and of course had a completely different feel (no shaking) and look (no filters) at first. Over the years, I purchased flash, filters, rings, straps, bags and boxes.

Over the years, as the digital revolution took hold, I have relinquished these and even thoughts of ever repeating the process.

Digital art, like advanced word processing, Wang to Word, has liberated not only my lugging abilities, but the ability to create wherever and whenever I wanted. I’m sure we all have similar experiences – it’s our generation that is speaking here.

So, enjoy my efforts at continuing to hone skills, learn more, and approach differently my subject. Just like each person, each piece has a life and a story. Stay awhile and hear some.
